Now that President Trump is in the Oval Office, thousands of American lives that were previously protected by provisions of the Affordable Care Act are in danger. For more than 30 years, we have studied how death rates are affected by changes in health-care coverage, and we’re convinced that an ACA repeal could cause tens of thousands of deaths annually.

The story is in the data: The biggest and most definitive study of what happens to death rates when Medicaid coverage is expanded, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, found that for every 455 people who gained coverage across several states, one life was saved per year. Applying that figure to even a conservative estimate of 20 million losing coverage in the event of an ACA repeal yields an estimate of 43,956 deaths annually.

Its actually funny, when this bullshit was passed by the democrats without support from Republicans, or the public for that matter, I said that when Americans took back the government and it was dismantled, the left woud start claiming that the Republicans were taking away peoples right to healthcare and that tens of thousands would end up dying in the streets because of it.

Now here is the really telling part of all of this, nobody took away anyones right to health care, the only thing that has been removed at this point is the mandate that forces people to buy someone else insurance. nobody is being denied health care, all they have to do is purchase a policy. If they dont purchase a policy and they end up dying (please have some dignity and do it out of the street) thats their choice. The left is all about leaving people to make their own choices about their body and health so this is to be considered a good thing.

dont worry, pretty soon they will all be dropping dead at our feet, right in the street.

And as a Republican, can I just say on behalf of us all, that this is really a GOOD thing. The left likes to get all sentimental when it comes to life outside the womb but actually, death is just a part of life. So doing something that will create 43,000 more dead people will be GREAT for the economy because it will provide job security for morgues and coroners, funeral parlors and casket salesmen. These people have families and children and let's face it, they're not rich people.

And hey... with 43,000 fewer people, I have a .013% better chance of finding a parking space when I go shop at Walmart! People just aren't looking at all the upsides here.

Bullshit.

You guys don't care about people having access to healthcare. Dems care about their voters having access. Illegal aliens and others are being subsidized by many tax payers who can no longer afford healthcare insurance, thanks to Obamacare. Many lost what they had and couldn't afford the higher rates. Others are paying a big price but have such a high deductible that they pay everything from their own pocket. They tend to avoid going to the doctor until they suffer a major illness or accident and have no choice.

I haven't heard one lib express anger or concern over those who lost their plans and doctors and now pay a penalty for not being able to afford a new plan.

You guys want population control. You're just hoping the old people die off first. Then, middle class people will go since they are the ones most hurt by the disaster.

Obamacare did not deliver on any of the promises. Costs skyrocketed. Insurance companies dropped from the exchanges to avoid bankruptcy. The whole thing was falling apart so repealing it won't be responsible for people's deaths. Obamacare was designed to thin the population. Repealing it and replacing it with a better plan is the answer. Even Dems were admitting that Obamacare sucks.

You forgot what might be the most important thing to them.
Those that will drop dead in the street will bring a few other benefits to the liberals, first off, which ever lucky lib is standing there when Mr Typhoid drops dead right in front of the Lexus dealer, will be able to check his pockets for cash, take his watch, shoes, belt etc... we shall call it an inheritance tax.
Then there is the additional bonus of one less person getting benefits, this allows for others to see an increase in their monthly entitlements.
I think this is why so many in the welfare communities in the city end up with a popped cap in their ass. It increases the overall wealth of the neighborhood in question.

now that he is no longer in office, is it still racist if you speak out against something he did while he was?

Obamacare is in financial meltdown and collapsing. Do nothing and millions who used to have insurance before Obamacare won't have any insurance, thanks Obama. /sarcasm

They also will no longer have to worry that the mean old Russians are going to somehow make these people cast votes for the Republican. They can simply cast the dead person's vote for the Democrat like they usually do. It saves money on transporting them up and down the Eastern seaboard on election day to vote in numerous states as well. You know, it's been proven that death actually decreases health care costs tremendously. If enough of these people die... problem solved! Right?

Oh and lets not forget that Mathew loved the ACA. No doubt because he was being subsidized by we the taxpayer.

Of course he loved it because he wasn't paying for it. What a POS he is.
