You are correct sir, there are not enough Democrats to throw him out. If republicans in the US Senate held their Oath to the Constitution above their party's political goals, you would not need a Democratic majority. The ad campaign you mention might just work as a get-out-the-vote ad for the Democrat party.

There is no EVIDENCE that President Trump is guilty of anything. One actual fact witness who said that the President wanted no quid , no pro and no quo.

A bunch of "opinion" witnesses who are hearsay at best, and will never be heard by the Senate.

Based on evidence, there isn't even a prima facie case, much less one which is proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

"Obstruction of Congress" isn't a crime at all, much less a high crime. The President is allowed to tell the Congress "no". Congress' relief is to take it through the courts, not impeach him.

He was asking on the behalf of the COUNTRY, not himself. And it wasn't a "favor" , it was a treaty obligation. And lastly, Sleepy Joe isn't a "political rival" at all. Both Trump and Biden are on the same page and believe that he would be the best candidate to face Trump next year.

Lastly, there would be no gain for Trump. Libs love Bite Me, not a single one would be influenced to vote against him because of an investigation.
