Blah blah blah..he's still 1000x better than the ass-hat we have in the White House now.

There are alternatives better than Gingrich.

And that’s appropriate ‘reasoning’ for you and others who hate Obama and didn’t vote for him in the first place.

The snag is, however, Gingrich will need a good number of democrats to vote for him to be president, assuming he wins the nomination. And that’s just not going to happen, for the reasons noted in the OP, among others.

I know there are, but none of them will be the GOP nominee.

Yes, that is most definately appropriate reasoning for me to vote for him over obama. How is that hard?

Hey Nostradamus, got the lotto numbers for next week?

1. He got tossed out of the House of Representatives as speaker because he lied to the Ethics Committee under oath. He was fined $300,000

Wrong! He paid the costs of an investigation after 65 complaints were dismissed without merit, but one technical violation was found. None of this had to do anything as his term as Speaker, which ended when he stepped down after the GOP lost seats in the 1998 midterms.

2. He cheated on all his wives, discussing divorce with Jackie while she was in the hospital undergoing cancer treatment.

technically, not true, because there's no evidence he cheated on his third wife, or really his first one. She requested a divorce long before she was treated for a benign tumor.

3. Took $1.6 million or more from Freddie Mac for lobbying congress - needs investigation as to the effects of the housing crisis from his lobbying work.

Bzzzz- wrong again. His contract specified no lobbying, just consulting

4. Supported cap and trade

Wrong again. He did a PSA saying that climate change is something the GOP should work with the Democrats on.

5. Supported universal health coverage.

Again- proof?

6. Called Paul Ryan's budget plan "right-wing social engineering"

Privatization of Medicare wouldn't be social engineering?

7. Doesn't know what he will do to create jobs except he won't raise taxes on the rich and he will cut spending from medicare and social security.

All pretty consistant with current GOP positions- and common sense.

8. Has some issues surrounding his income from non-profit companies..

What issues?

It should come down to far more pressing issues than the OP...is there any doubt we're on the wrong track with Obama's leadership.. I see it as only getting worse with Obama in a wide range of issues.

Can someone honestly convince me otherwise?....:eusa_think:

Only Republican Presidents.

When it's a Democratic President it doesn't matter what kind of personal life issues they have so long as they're a GREAT president (which they all are)
;)

Also, Democrat Presidents seem to have the edge on entertainment value...
