The problem with forums is that people don´t post news but only what fits their point of view. Hence Sandy is not an issue, there is little about him and his kin.

For example there is starving in half of the world but reports of food shortages are almost exclusively about Venezuela. With ridiculous claims that the "socialist regime" "starves" the people the forum gets filled although the situation is under control and there are places in the world, where people really starve. But there is no socialism to blame so the news stay away. Once Uncle Sam picks one of these starving countries and labels it evil, you can see the board getting filled with threads about the evilness of this poor country. When it finally has been bombed away, we can read about the liberation from the regime and that everything is fine now.

The threads are still around, just not in the numbers they used to be. The media knows how to tweak the desperate, so from time to time, they throw out a bread crumb here and there to see how many birds will jump on it.

You have to give them something to keep their hopes and dreams alive. Liberal depression is such a terrible thing to watch. They just sit in their living room all mopey with their protest signs and pussy hats next to their easy chair ready at a moments notice. They are so bummed out they don't even go to Starbucks anymore. It really breaks my heart.

The desperate left grabbed on to the myth but alas, the left wing media was just selling snake oil. The ultra radicals knew it and at least one Sanders supporter decided to do the right thing and take out every damned conservative republican on his list. Which had nothing to do with Russia and FYI leaking those conversations is likely a federal crime nice to know you support the potential breaking of federal law if it suits your political agenda.
