The 60's were scarred with riots. Seeing the riots in England this week it reminds me of the ones that started on this day in the USA. August 11, 1964 Race riot in Paterson NJ and Elizabeth NJ. August 11, 1965 6 day insurrection starts in Watts section of Los Angeles. One thing about riots, the people usually tear up their own hoods, making life more difficult for themselves in the future. With the economy is such dire shape it gives desperate people the opportunity to "get theirs" and destroys the fragile infrastructure in the hood. Why?
