Remakes you'd like to see

The Godfather only in this one Sonny gets a hold of Carlo before he dies.

Seriously, though, no more fucking remakes.

I'm basically with you on this..but some remakes of obscure movies are fun. I liked "Heaven can wait" with Warren Beatty. Or the "Magnificant Seven" with Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen.

But restorations and re-releases might be better.

Magnificient Seven could be a really fun remake, kinda like the Ocean's 11 remake. The problem is I don't think that there's a crew yet that could remake that movie. They're been a few decent westerns in the last 5 years, but a film like that needs a "dream team" for the cast.

Of course, Magnificent Seven is a remake of Seven Samurai really, so....

I could stand to see a remake of Black Hole. I'd love to see a sequel (not a remake) of Unbreakable. A Clue remake could be really hillarious if you can get the right crew together for it.

That was my original point. And films like Yojimbo and Rashomon have gotten western treatments multiple times. Heck Yojimbo was the original inspiration for the "Man with no name" trilogy..with Clint Eastwood.

I'd like to see some of the obscure films remade. Inspires people to check out the source material.
