Senator Harry Reid is outraged by Republican obstructionism in the Senate. He has also pledged himself to Democratic obstruction in the Senate should Mitt Romney win the White House. Will the real Harry Reid please stand up?

@ Reid's Past Hatred of Obstructionism Gone with Prospect of Romney Presidency

Mitt Romney’s fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his ‘severely conservative’ agenda is laughable. In fact, Mitt Romney’s Tea Party agenda has already been rejected in the Senate... Senate Democrats are committed to defending the middle class, and we will do everything in our power to defend them against Mitt Romney’s Tea Party agenda.”

unfortunately there isn't the saying of:

"What goes around, comes around."

for nothing.

He learned it from Saddam.

Reid has promised to gut the filibuster for this session. This is the first time he's had enough votes for that, along with popular support for it.

I'd like to see it more like an NFL challenge flag. Each party would get a limited number per session, which would prevent filibusters from being tossed around frivilously.

not a bad idea!

cuz they are used frivolously!

though i think if they just used it as it is suppose to be used, which is for extended debate and were made to stand up in front of their podium for as long as they had something to say ....that could limit them.
