Reid Now Up 7

You know what else wasn't extreme to the Founding Fathers?

Slavery

That's not really true. Many of the signers of the Declaration were opposed to slavery. It was the southern representatives that were against abolition of it because of the economic harm it would do to their region of the country. They refused to sign onto any union with the north that outlawed the practice. The northerners caved because they felt at the time it was more important to have a unified front against the British, rather than division.

Some of the southern founders didn't want slavery either some did and some didn't just as in the north some did and some didn't

That was until Eli Whitney invented the Cotton Gin. Once cottton became an economic goldmine in the south they all supported slavery

Dinghy Harry's "lead" (sic) is down to 2 according to the latest polls. Wait until the ads hit....Harry will soon be unemployed. He's a miserable failure.

Now Rasmussen's got Reid ahead by 2. That's three consecutive polls that have showed him in the lead, after trailing by double digits a month and a half ago. He's got momentum, money, and he's defined Angle as more out of step in her views than he is.

That being said, I still think Angle's about a 2 point favorite, but I'd HATE giving you those odds.

You can be sure those folks are cherry picking history. Abortion was part of African, Native American, and European cultures in the 16th and 17th centuries. The practice has been a part of American culture from the beginning. bigrebnc1775's nonsense can be ignored.
