Record Profits

2 cents a gallon profit for oil companies. Hell makes you wonder why any company would ever mess with that. If it were true. Bet you got that number (.02) from an Exxon site.

One thing, it sure it hard to believe how socialist Obama is when you see the kinds of profits turned in by companies. Does socialism in the WH equal real good profits for Wall street? Who would have thought that?

Trusts were bad for the economy, bad for the country and bad for the people. Government (mostly Republican) broke them up due to excessive power.

Exxon has made $1400 dollars per second net. That represents too much economic and political power.

Again.. a person supporting limits to freedom.. .well, when it fits YOUR agenda or YOUR benefit

It is the hyper-powerful who are a threat to freedom. Was T. Roosevelt a commie?

And your ever increasing government is not "hyper powerful"?? There is more of a chance that the government will do damage than a company who cannot force you to participate or purchase their product or service...

We have no trusts nor monopolies that control towns, own people, control people, create indentured servants, etc... We do have a government that does things along those lines because of their unchecked power and abuse of it

It is those with the will to control people that are a threat to freedom

Interventionary bureaucratic price controls are whats needed.............And central committees to determine who deserves the profit..........

For "fairness" and the public good ..................lol

Bootlickers and apologists for the rich (as if the rich needed them, appreciated them or would ever raise a reciprocal finger) are amusing at best and a danger to digestion at worst.

Entrepreneurship and community-scale capitalism works fine. The crushing weight of mega-corps only works for them.

And when you have nothing.. you and your ilk resort to this...

You have already lost... give it up, wingnut

Yes, Exxon's profit margin of 8.44% of revenues in 2011 was way too much.
How much should it be? Why?

No more corporations !!!

Local organic communes with all property shared equally is the way forward....Hammer and sickle workers of the world, unite comrades !!!

If companies should have total freedom, are you against pollution standards?

So, 'Dave', you can't take normal conversation and exchange? Intellectually challenged are you, so you have to strike out for vengeance?

You are a joke and it is a privilege to be 'negged' by your likes.
