Geezus dude...those are addressed in elementary school. It goes without saying that those are critical. One would think the whole "dissect a frog" thing would have been a sledgehammer of a hint to you that we were talking high school.
You clearly overestimate what students learn in elementary/middle school and have no experience on what high school students know when it comes to English in high school.
