I read through all the posts on this thread and it appeared to me that:
10 people favor legalized gay marriage
6 people favor banning gay marriage
5 not sure what they favored.

From this and all other posts on the subject, it seems to me that most of the people that are against gay marriage are very much against it and would be willing to write letters, sign partitions, and stand in a voting line in the rain to vote against it. However, for those that favor gay marriage they don't seem have the same convictions as those that are against it. If they're planning to vote and there're happens to be a vote for gay marriage, they'll vote for it. I find this strange. You would think it would be the opposite.
