Reaganomics Vs.Obamanomics .....tax cuts work !!!

So W passed the biggest tax cut in US history, followed by the greatest economic crash since the Great Depression. Sure.....
yeah, because it happened RIGHT AFTER he passed the tax cuts.

Good grief.

What a goofy piece. The fact is that Carter appointed Volker to have a tight money policy, in order to bring down inflation. Reagan blamed Carter for high interest rates, but kept Volker's policy in place and even reappointed him. Volker's approach was correct, but people still think that Carter was dumb.

The claim in the article that Obamanomics are opposite of Reaganomics is also a lie. Reagan cut income taxes, and immediately raised them by cutting out consumer credit expenses. Obama hasn't had the opportunity to raise taxes to bring down our deficit, because we have a bunch of moron Republicans in the House.

Hey Tick Duck? Didn't I give you a homework assignment on the Constitution and Voting?

You didn't answer...pourquoi?

The reason we're in this mess is because of Reagan's supply-side voo-doo economincs bullshit.
Because a 25 year economic boon is a mess. :cuckoo:

What 25 year boon? Were you somewhere on a desert isle when Reagan's deregulation led to the collapse of our S&L industry?

Our country turned around when Clinton raised the top end tax bracket. It brought in tons of foreign investment, and brought the US Dollar to a new high. Even with Bush II's goofy wars, we wouldn't be in half the trouble that his debt financed tax cuts caused. You know, the ones that Republicans are too cowardly to repeal.

I'm sure you meant to say 'longest economic expansion in our history.'

Some people are just f'ing stupid.

I am convinced that the larger incomes of the country would actually yield more revenue to the government if the basis of taxation were scientifically revised downward. -- Calvin Coolidge, State of the Union message, December 3, 1924

You sure are. Like with Reagan, huge debt, S+L bubble and bust- Bush HUGE bubble, SECOND Pub Great Depression (MORE corruption, cronyism)...BRILLIANT. Will the dupes EVER LEARN. JFC:cuckoo::cuckoo::mad::lol::lol::lol:

Reagan cut taxes that were more than twice as high as now- the rich have money coming out of their ears now, and taxes as % of GDP have never been lower,- The problem now is no jobs, squeezed non rich, and NO DEMAND. Wanting to cut taxes on the rich now ideological insanity and blindness. WE need intelligent (ie Dem) spending cuts, jobs bills paid for by taxes on the bloated rich. Pub dupes!:cuckoo::cuckoo:
what would have happened to our country with out Reagan !!! imagine 8 yrs of Carter !!

Reagan sure was great at taking credit for what would have happened anyway. With Carter: no S+L scandal, no Lebanon, El Salvador, Nicaraugua- He would have gotten more cooperation from Teddie 2nd term on austerity. GD it. LOL

But Carter didn't get a second term now did he....so we'll never know just how wet your dream is.

Reagan, on the other hand, came up a just a few votes short of a clean sweep. MN has the dubios honor of voting for Mondale the retard. The rest....Reagan.

Wow...that is one lousy president.

  What makes you think we are not laughing at your sad ass everytime you post ?

Here's another......

"Not only was the entire national deficit eliminated after raising taxes on the wealthy in 1993, but the economy grew so fast for the remainder of the decade that many conservative economists thought that the Fed should raise the prime interest rate in order to slow it down."

....Not to mention.....

August 5, 1996

"The 1993 budget legislation did increase federal tax receipts. One can not, however, draw from this the conclusion that taxes increased significantly for the majority of taxpayers. The 1993 changes in the tax code increased federal income tax rates only for high-income taxpayers.

The vast majority of taxpayers saw no change in their income taxes as a result of the 1993 law. CBO estimates that most households paid only $38 more per year, as a result of the 4.3 cent per gallon increase in the gas tax."

ReRon Reagan; The Myth

"Idolatry of Reagan's supposed tax-cutting wonders propels the now widespread economic belief that up is down, that cutting government spending is the way out of - rather than into - a severe recession."
