Yes it was the Reagan "Redistribution of wealth" that created the current chasm between the working Americans and the wealthy.

I almost forgot about that part. Before his Income Reform Act of 1986, my wife and I used to take a total of seven exemptions between us throughout the year and break even at tax time. Afterwards, we lost all the exemptions and started writing a sizable check to the IRS every year at tax time. We called it the hidden tax increase on the middle class.

Yep interest on credit cards, federal tax on gasoline, income averaging, etc.

Well when you get screwed over it is the bad things you remember.

Bush even did a couple of things I agreed with. But I can't recall what right now.
