This shows how ignorant you are. The German people were no different than any American person. They had a worse depression than the U.S. ever thought about having. They were burning their own currency for heat and to cook what little food they had. Had it not been for Hitler's complex about Jews and final solution, he would have gone down as one of the greatest leaders in history. (based on the progression of Germany). He took Germany from one of the most poorest and desperate nation in Europe, to the most powerful nation in the world in a matter of about 10 years. If you knew anything about Nazi History, you'd know that many people were lied to when Hitler ran for his office. And as far as Jews go, Americans hated Jews just as much as Germans did.....As any Jewish immigrant to the U.S. during the 30s and 40s and see what get.

As for parties, it is irrational to put a label on which party is the worst. Granted, the republicans seem worse because they are the ones in the White House. As soon as a democrat gets in there, they'll be worse because they're in the White House. Do a little research and you'll find that many Democrats have started wars just like Iraq. We got involved in Vietnam (politically) right after World War II when Truman (Democrat) was in office. Then another Democrat (Kennedy) put the ball in motion for Johnson (also a Democrat). Have you also heard of the Bay of Pigs? Let's see, what other Deomcrats can we pick on... Oh yeah, Bill Clinton and his interest in the Balkans, not to mention his ignorance of Osama Bin Laden. The world is not black and white dude, alot of history shows that Democrats have done equally stupid shit as the republicans....you need to open your mind and quit seeing things one-sided just because a repub. is in office now. Oh I forgot to mention a little place called KOREA....There's a place called the 38th parallel at which we still have troops stationed (since 1951).

No, what the Dems did is apply a dirty little political stunt in which they (most) voted for the war in Iraq, and then turned around and bashed Bush and the republicans for it. It took their vote to do so. If they were SOOO against the war, why did they vote for it again? And obviously you have a reading comprehension problem, I have not adovocated any party in this thread, I have only made it clear that both parties pull the same type of shit. You are the one trying to rationalize one choice over the other based on one parties supposed "goodness" and the other parties "badness"

I agree, I'm not a Bush supporter either. I voted for him...(lesser of two retards) IMO. But I believe he has also definately done some stupid crap. That's what I'm trying to get across to some of the "party-goers" like Sealybobo. Both parties have done things. We still have troops stationed in Korea (Truman Deomcrat). We've had military disasters (Pay of Pigs-Kennedy-Democrat). Vietnam (Kennedy, Johnson-Democrats). Despite Sealybobo's goal to rewrite history, Democrats and Republicans both have done things as equally disasterous. If it was up to Sealybobo, he'd change history so that all of our nations downfalls were because of Republican political officials. This post kind of has a republican biased, but only because some posters have failed to recognize Democrat downfalls as well. I will admit that I am more conservative than many, but I do not identify with a party or have an affiliation to one. I vote and support for the person...
