Re-Evaluating Obama

People who get all their information from talk radio and Fox News believe as you do.......EVERYTHING Obama has done has been a failure. They hear nothing else so they believe that everyone believes as they do.

Obama has accomplished quite a bit inspite of the rightwing hate campaign. Many people are getting coverage under Obamacare, many auto workers have jobs because of Obama, his foreign policy decisions have been flawless and yes, he did get bin laden

The economy is struggling and Obama will have to answer for it. But polls still show that the public blames republicans for the economic collapse, the public also supports higher taxes on the wealthy and is afraid they will lose Social Security and Medicae coverage under republican rule

As unpopular as Obama may seem, he still is much more popular than the republican party

Guy, I rarely watch Fox news and don't spend a lot of time listening to talk radio. BUt Obama has failed, and if you people had any brains, you'd run Hillary, which is what you should have done to start with.

Timefor Barry to pull up his big boy pants. This blaming Bush shit is getting old with a lot of people.

We are planning to run Hillary........in 2016

After Obama gives Republicans an ass kicking in 2012, that will leave time for Hillary to win in 2016 and 2020

Is Obama, stepping up to the plate, cutting the mustard, inspiring all the natives, a political Parties dream or a nightmare...?

Sheesh.. lets start here...:doubt:

Seventeen percent (17%) of Likely U.S. Voters say the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey taken the week ending Sunday, November 20.

Thats a big hell no, but many of us wonder when the new government agency starts

THE ANTI BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.

Anti business...nothing's changed..........the Republicans have blocked everything. Where are the jobs.

Some believe a true leader, statesman and great President represents all the people not just the ones that elected him to office.. They find the common ground, help make reasonable legislation and move the country in a positive direction..

It's fairly clear you don't believe Obama is capable of this, so why 4 more years..?

Obama needs to go...period. Pitting one American against another for him might be good sport, and something to laugh about with his Statist pals as they watch a basketball game on the deck of a Carrier...or in a 30th round of golf...but in my mind totally dispicable as what he says and does affects the lives of others that he could no less care about than his dog shittin on the Whitehouse lawn...(He has people to clean that up for him by the way).

The obsession some of you have about Obama indicates that you seriously do not understand the world you really live in.

I'm more obsessed with the work of the AG and the EPA.

As long as the Big 0 uses his minions as the enforcers of his ideology in favor of the Congress, we are strolling toward the dictatorship that Liberals long for.

The best thing about Congress, any Congress, but especially this one, is that they find it difficult to accomplish anything. If Congress does anything, it costs more.

The Big 0 has overcome this, though, as the Congress is gridlocked and he continues to spend more money measurable only by numbers that I can't even conceptualize.

Yes blocking everything thats a piss poor idea. But we know your stance, government is more important then the guy on the street.

Yeah right....you're just like that bunch of assholes who said two years ago that their primary purpose and drive would be dedicated to preventing Obama from getting a second term. In other words...to hell with the poor and unemployed. Block Obama has been their only dedication.

Is your definition of success to cause misery, then provide relief from the misery?

The Conservatives looked at what the guy wanted to do, saw it was going to be damaging and resolved to try to stop him. Sure enough. He did what he wanted to do, it was damaging, and now they still want to stop him.

If someone was working hard to assure that your children would be poor and without hope, would you try to stop that guy? Of course not. You're a Liberal.

You mean they are acting like democrats.

So what

So What hell That's why cities all over this country are having to put up with demonstrations by the unemployed, the overcharged students, the frustrated, the same kind of citi ens who revolted against the government in the late 1960's. No Big Deal......Live With It!

You really are without the first clue, aren't you.

In the sixties, some of the demonstrators were protesting against the war, well, more specifically, against the draft. Others of the demonstrators were protesting against the state of Race relations.

In both cases, the general drive was to deliver the power to the people.

The current demonstrators are driving to remove power from the people and have the government provide a nanny state because the world is a hard, cold place when you're not living in Mommy's basement.

Now, "Power to the People" is the cry of the TEA Party and the OWS crowd is against that entirely. They want the government to control everything very tightly and to assure that the talented and the energetic are deprived of any reward that they might earn.

All over the world, there are people protesting for greater freedom, while in Greece and in the OWS movement, people are demanding that they get stuff for free and have the unchallenged right to fail in prosperity.

Reward without a achievement. Action without thought. Rights without responsibility.

Like it or not, Obama is the only adult in a room full of spoiled brats. Congress has given up and will not do anything till after the next election. Obama is the one offering compromises and a path forward. If anything gets done in the next year, it will come from Obama

Certainly won't come from the House of representatives. They've sent about 500 bills to the Senate that the Majority leader shelves rather than votes on.

As long as the Dems control any part of government, the only things done will be wastes of money and time.

Nancy Pelosi passed significant legislation in her tenure.......what has John Boehner accomplished?

He's prevented democrats from being more destructive than they already are.

Nice try

Might even make sense in a robust economy. But with a debt crisis, massive unemployment and protests in our streets.......What has Boehner done?

He is a failure as a speaker and has no legislative success

Actually, he's had a pretty impressive record of getting bills passed. he has no control over the lethargic and incapable Senate.

Obama's been a failure in that he worked on too many incorrect assumptions, the first being that the economy would mend on its own once he and his MSM media buddies stopped talking it down. His assumption was that we'd be back in solid growth by 2010 and unemployment would never get above 8%. That turned out to be wrong on all counts.

His second failure was in deferring to Pelosi and Reid instead of proposing real bold initiatives and fighting for them. He let the Senate and House come up with their own versions, and when Scott brown won, he had to settle for the house version, which turned out to be the same awful plan that was failing in Massachusetts.

Not quite accurate. Half of the funding for Romneycare comes from the Feds. Without that half of the funding, the plan would not work as well as it has.

Shhhhhhh... don't say that out loud. It might confuse the "conservatives" who think Romney is really one of them.

When every bill starts with....."Repeal Obamacare"

They are not going to get very far

He is the Speaker of the House not the speaker of the Republican party. To get bills passed you have to work out bipartisan support. That is why Boehner is a failure and has accomplished nothing

Oh really........

Odd they have managed to pull 50 billion from funding to send to other sources with an eye on the rest. Obama so confident in his mandate ordered a halt to implementation.

Do you think before posting. A question many ask.

The way it works is that the house passes a bill and the Senate changes i and then it goes back to the house and finally to committee. Unless it's Obamacare in which case it just gets passed and then is railroaded through by device instead of majority.

How can you cling to the Dems, the party of no budgets, like they actually are trying to do something good?
