Rational discourse on gun control

I'm sorry. That was Divine Wind, not you. Please accept my apologies. It was a stupid mistake.
ROFL Just more evidence where your head is parked.

The comment was that Left and Right Wing partisans have their specific memes. A LW meme is to ban guns and, barring that, at least control them as much as possible.

I'll ask you again: If Obama's 2013 gun control bill was passed, would you be satisfied that our nation has enough gun control and never, ever bring up the topic again? Do you think most of your fellow LWers would agree?

Every time a new shooter shoots up a school, church, or nightclub, the far left wants more gun control.

They simply have not learned that if you outlaw guns then only outlaws will have guns.

And the only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a better gun who is a better shot.

When did Hillary ever say she was banning guns from good citizens?
When she said she wanted to "get military style weapons off the streets" at the debate. That covers everything from the American Revolution to date.

Previously she'd expressed a desire for the Australian version of gun control. That one required mandatory registration and confiscation.

Which has nothing to do with ‘banning’ guns from law abiding citizens.

This is why there can be no rational discourse with most conservatives concerning the Second Amendment – where most on the right are irrational with regard to guns – the consequence of their ignorance of, or contempt for, Second Amendment jurisprudence.

The Second Amendment right is not ‘absolute,’ it is subject to reasonable restrictions by government, consistent with that Second Amendment jurisprudence, where current Second Amendment case law allows for government to prohibit possession of certain types of firearms.

Consequently, Clinton’s position on gun control is perfectly Constitutional, in no way advocating ‘violating’ citizens’ Second Amendment rights.

Certain types will mean vast categories and then all of them....

Prove it. I can only go by what she said. If you're her spokesman/mind reader, I'm happy to listen to what these unspoken "reasonable restrictions" would be.

As it is, I can only by her and her fellow anti-gun Democrats track-records and statements to the public.

This is a lie.

In Oz, certain guns were banned. People had the chance to sell them to the states. Those that were not sold were confiscated.
That's a ban, and confiscation, of guns for law-abiding citizens.

Go ahead - lie to us some more.

This is why there can be no rational discourse with most conservatives concerning the Second Amendment
Because people like you have to lie to make your points.

There is no evidence that rifles with magazines are a threat any more than pistols with magazines are.....yet they want to ban both......rifles with magazines were used to murder 162 people....over 34 years....knives murder 1,500 people every single year.....

These rifles, 8 million in law abiding hands, are the first guns they want to ban...why? They are no more dangerous than a pistol with extra magazines...in fact the second worst mass public shooting was done with pistols.......

So....once they ban rifles that are not used to kill more people than knives, clubs or fists.....they will then focus on pistols......

Then 6 shooters.......then 5.......then all of them....

They think they are so clever when they pull that tiny phrase from Heller......

You lie like a rug. She never said that!

You lie like a rug. She never said that!
She said one and expressed a fondness for the other. Both are well documented. You can deny all you want, but enough people know she has those views to distrust her anti-gun efforts as further encroachment upon their rights by a Queen Nanny-Stater.

If it's so well documented, then you should have no problem posting the video clip of her saying those fake quotes you posted.
