Her Sept. 5 premiere drew 13.6 million viewers, followed by 10.3 million Wednesday, 9.5 million Thursday, and 7.4 million Friday.

No worries, says "Evening News'' boss Rome Hartman.
"I'm not panicked, I'm hugely encouraged," he says. "If anybody's panicked, they need to go back to ratings school. We had millions more people, and millions of different people, watching the `Evening News.'"
It will take weeks, if not months, before any meaningful conclusions can be drawn, Hartman says.

I didn't see it, any night. I haven't watched a main stream ABC, NBC, CBS nightly national news broadcast for years. They're so damn liberal biased it's sickening.

I already know what little miss liberal couric is all about. I sure don't need a nightly dose of it. If she was the only news broadcaster on the only place to hear news, I still wouldn't watch the little skank.

How did she last with mattie lauer for so long? Because she's as big a piss bag liberal as he is.

Apart from her politics, she sounds like she has a lisp or other speech impediment. It's hard to listen to a talking head who talks like she does for more than a couple of minutes. Is this really the best CBS can do?
