Rating the hawks and doves

Keep America Safe, the hard-line national security group founded in part by Liz Cheney, is creating scorecards that rate members of Congress in an effort to bring accountability on votes relating to defense and foreign policy.

While social and fiscal groups such as the Family Research Council and AFL-CIO grade members, there has been no high-profile national security organization doing the same thing.

Of course, the more hawkish you are the better your grade and it's taken for granted that torture, missile buildup, spying, and military interventionism in general is what's necessary to "keep America safe."
