Raising Taxes: Like Spitting in the Ocean - Fact or Myth?

I recently came across this video and thought it was really interesting.

But when I showed it to a group of liberals, they completely disregarded it as propaganda and a completely wrong. Can someone on here shed some light on it? I've been looking around for facts to verify these claims, but haven't had much luck.

It is correct as stated. You can eat all the wealth and get by for a year, not much of a long term plan. That's the whole point.
