Rage Against The Machine

Well I can think of one big difference between arpaio, the mentioned congressmen, and you OWS parasites.

Well, seeing as I'm not affiliated with the OWS movement in any way, you sound like an idiot.

And that difference is employment.

Seeing as I'm gainfully and happily employed, you sound further like an idiot.

Additionally, arpaio was acting as the citizens of the great state of Arizona want him to act.

Seeing as SHERIFF is a county office, you sound even more like an idiot.

And in conclusion, seeing as you clearly don't understand what the meaning of the song is, nor the ironic reference I made to law enforcement, you finally sound like as much of a full idiot as we all knew you were.

Not affiliated with OWS, yet you sound just like them..... I fuckin love it!

All of ratm songs are about the losers in life whining. They give you OWS parasites a voice. For a fee. Hahahahahahahaha

Art has a well known liberal bias.

And gainful employment has a well known republican bias, pissant.

Zing!

Too bad statistics make these claims ridiculous, even when Dems include the huge majority of discriminated against minorities...Blue states also give tax dollars to red ones...

As far as rock and rollars go, the Pubs are down to Nugent and Skynard retreads. The GOP is really just selfish haters /ignorami these days...fact.

The rest of the world is just gobsmacked....

Thank god he went into music. What would a dipshit socialist do with a social sciences degree? I know! Whine abouthow every else makes money! Wait, that's what he's doing now, except he is rich.....

Fuck you I won't do what you tell me......screams the angry teenager who has to mow the lawn for his allowance....

You OWS parasites are truly pathetic.

Will you please stop that please?!? Of all the music producted in the history of music Ryan likes these guys more than all those others. You are not being very sensitive to Ryan's tastes. Shame, shame.

Sensitivity is a game you OWS pussies play. I, however, am a man. You want sensitive? Go find a drum circle.

Yeah no kidding, I had a big suporter of OWS really hate on me the other day, I cant imagine why :D

Rage Against the Machine? Really?

I question his taste in music. For the longest time I thought Zack de la Rocha was actually an angry girl instead of a male. Their stuff would at least be tolerable if Che Guevara, Jr., would just shut the hell up.

Paul Ryan Is 'Clueless' About Rage Against The Machine, Tom Morello Says - Music, Celebrity, Artist News | MTV.com

"Charles Manson loved the Beatles, but didn't understand them. Chris Christie loves Bruce Springsteen but doesn't understand him. And Paul Ryan is clueless about his favorite band, Rage Against the Machine," Morello writes. "Ryan claims that he likes Rage's sound, but not the lyrics. Well, I don't care for Paul Ryan's sound or his lyrics. He can like whatever bands he wants, but his guiding vision for shifting revenue more radically to the 1 percent is antithetical to the message of Rage." ...

"I clearly see that Ryan has a whole lotta 'rage' in him: A rage against women, a rage against immigrants, a rage against workers, a rage against gays, a rage against the poor," he writes. "Basically the only thing he's not raging against is the privileged elite he's groveling in front of for political contributions."

Yep, they nailed the poor little rich boy.

Why do pubs/pots think its okay to lie about and profit from the work of other people?

Why didn't Ryan ASK for permission to use these musician's work?

Because, they're used to stealing what they want.

Dudley you dont even know who Rage Against The Machine is do you?.....i seriously doubt if an old Fart like you has even heard one song by these guys......im sure your ears would bleed if you did.....you have to listen to them somewhat louder than Sinatra.....

Why would anyone care what a hack of a guitarist thinks about politics? What kind of moron puts stock in the political beliefs of an artist? Hint: He's not gonna share his money with you, and he probably uses every loophole available to him to reduce his tax burden. He doesn't care about you parasites, you are just some douchebag that will spend your last ten bucks to download his latest songs onto the iPod your mother bought you. No one cares about you, or for you.

A great Democratic President did.

"The artist, however faithful to his personal vision of reality, becomes the last champion of the individual mind and sensibility against an intrusive society and an officious state. The great artist is thus a solitary figure. He has, as Frost said, a lover's quarrel with the world. In pursuing his perceptions of reality, he must often sail against the currents of his time. This is not a popular role. If Robert Frost was much honored in his lifetime, it was because a good many preferred to ignore his darker truths. Yet in retrospect, we see how the artist's fidelity has strengthened the fibre of our national life.

If sometimes our great artist have been the most critical of our society, it is because their sensitivity and their concern for justice, which must motivate any true artist, makes him aware that our Nation falls short of its highest potential. I see little of more importance to the future of our country and our civilization than full recognition of the place of the artist.

If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him. We must never forget that art is not a form of propaganda; it is a form of truth. And as Mr. MacLeish once remarked of poets, there is nothing worse for our trade than to be in style. In free society art is not a weapon and it does not belong to the spheres of polemic and ideology. Artists are not engineers of the soul. It may be different elsewhere. But democratic society--in it, the highest duty of the writer, the composer, the artist is to remain true to himself and to let the chips fall where they may. In serving his vision of the truth, the artist best serves his nation. And the nation which disdains the mission of art invites the fate of Robert Frost's hired man, the fate of having "nothing to look backward to with pride, and nothing to look forward to with hope."

I bet Rage Against The Machine will have a shit when they find out that Ryan likes them !

By the way, I would love to see how "socialistic" these guys live. Something tells me they are the usual "do as I say not as I do" limousine liberals.
Dude!...They "sing" about their rough life on the hardscrabble mean streets of Irvine, California!

hey Irvine is pretty tough place to live OB......you gotta make sure you are making some big bucks to afford to live there.....

Except in this case, Rage against the Machine's Tom Morello is the old fart and Paul Ryan is the new hep cat in town.

The point is about Ryan, not the guitarist.

since Morello is the one talking.....its about him too....

Then again, Wilk and Morello didn't move to CA until adulthood. In any event, that's not what their music is about.

Tom Morello is from my hometown - he is nothing more than an elitist social justice freak just like his mother (my former teacher)....

Tom Morello is a masochist.....

In his fucked up mind it's ok to redistribute wealth, however go read what he thinks about redistributing music er file sharing.....

As usual - when it his money or product that is being fucked with he takes a more conservative approach.

Tom Morello lives in a mansion and has a reported net worth of $60 million....He's the "Michael Moore" of burned out Rock bands that no longer produce albums. Just another limousine liberal....

I love how liberals back rich people hating on rich people.....it's hilarious.

I love how conservatives lick the assholes of rich people, unless they are liberals.
