Racist Voter Fraud Billboards intimidating

The voter fraud scare is a fraud within itself. All it does is supress the vote and that's the idea isn't it?

"Out of the 197 million votes cast for federal candidates between 2002 and 2005, only 40 voters were indicted for voter fraud, according to a Department of Justice study outlined during a 2006 Congressional hearing. Only 26 of those cases, or about .00000013 percent of the votes cast, resulted in convictions or guilty pleas."
Voter Fraud: It's Real, But Rare - ABC News

You can't find voter fraud if you're not looking for it. The fact remains that until we tighten up the registration process voter fraud will continue to be the 600 pound gorilla in the room. Allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry (or Juan, Maria and Jose) to register without verifying their eligibility to cast a ballot GUARANTEES that their vote fraud will NEVER be discovered, even by accident.

With 30 million illegal aliens in the country, that is a LOT of potential fraud, no?

Pretty damn obvious... *RACIST VOTER INTIMIDATION SIGNS* is nothing more than LEFTIST BULL SHIT.

What's the matter libroids... having your BLACK PROTECTOR in the DOJ not GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?

Your claims of RACISM are a fucking JOKE!

I agree. The signs are neither racist nor intimidating unless you are committing voter fraud. The faux outrage when people are just looking for a reason to find racism in everything is just stale. I selected this thread's title based on the content of the article not on my personal iewpoint.

Oh yeah, and thanks much for the neg rep
SORRY... I thought you were approaching this from the opposite point of view.

I'll make up for the neg with a pos when I can, and it will be double so don't worry.

Anybody who doesnt support voter ID is amongst the throngs of the PC zombies, and some, in this forum, are pure mental cases. Being against voters having to present ID's is so fcuking naive its not real.........."voter supression"...........how hysterical. Ohio authorities have already nabbed a bunch of people using bogus names. What bout people coming across state lines.........right, like that isnt going to happen.

"Voter supression" is complete and total bogusness, supported by people interrested in winning the vote at any cost.

To the people who dont have ID's..........fuck you. Got get one like everybody else. Society sets the bar low for you one everything else in life..............fuck you on this one.:fu:

Links to what? There is no verification of voter eligibility during the registration process, so any and all voter fraud remains 'incognito'. Registrants 'check the box' that says they're eligible and that's it.

Tell me something.... What did YOU do to verify your eligibility to vote when YOU registered?

“It is voter intimidation,” said Phyllis Cleveland, a Cleveland City councilwoman. “That was my gut feeling the first time I saw them.” They are creating an environment whereby African American, Hispanic and poor people are being painted as offenders,” Turner said. ”They know exactly what they are doing. This is all about our president. Don’t make any mistake about it. Those signs were not up four years ago or eight years ago or even 10.”

Turner said the placement of the billboards is strategic.

The effect on the community is "exactly the effect that they want to have,” Turner said. “If you are a low-information voter, under all of this pressure ... many voters will say ‘to hell with it.’”

Who is it intimidating to? The ones who are trying to register under a dead person's name?

When the concept of Voter ID began to surface in states across America I became interested. So I did research on voter fraud. It seems voter fraud and the possibility of voter fraud has been followed/researched, there are quite a few results via Google. The conclusion came to me after doing research and not counting on any partisan resources to help guide me to a conclusion.
I like facts, not talking points.

And to answer your question,,,I don't remember, it was fifteen years ago that I moved to Minneapolis.

Golly gee-- wonder why they left out the Minnesota convictions?

Minnesota Majority -- 113 convictions represent small fraction of total unlawful votes

Oh, yeah -- the Democrat won, so the election was legit.

Right?

They should be up everywhere....not just in selected neighborhoods.
Feel free to rent your own billboards.

Real instances of voter fraud are few and far between. Certainly not the huge problem right wingers would have us believe. If it really were true, they wouldn't have to keep showing the same pictures and telling us the same stories over and over again. There'd be new revelations all the time. Actually, the most significant piece of "fraud" I've heard of lately is in Sheriff Joe's county, where some people, supposedly mostly Hispanics, were sent election notices with the wrong date. Could be an innocent mistake, but it's the kind of thing the right would be up in arms about, if they thought it effected them.

The Democrat foxes guarding the Democrat Big City Vote Manufacturing machines hen houses never find Voter fraud

Don't need to, the Democratic primary IS the election. :D

Since you've done so much research you should be able to answer this question.

What procedures are in place to verify the eligibility of registrants?

The idiocy of the billboards, of course, among other things, is that they warn of the consequences of a crime which is virtually non-existent.

You keep telling yourself that, Clayton, and while you're at it why don't you take a swing at that question I just left for Kiwiman.

What procedures are in place to verify the eligibility of registrants?
