Racism and Classism out of Slate... No Surprise.

What President Obama's summer reading list says about him. - By John Dickerson - Slate Magazine

"George Bush reading a French Existentialist is like Obama reading a Cabela's catalog."

^Assumes so much about Blacks, Whites and Halfrican Americans, that it's simply Amazing...

Liberals don't even Know when they are being Racist because they are Incapable of Accepting that they are even Capable of Racism.

And of course, the Big Lie: "But his (Obama's) list is also clearly not poll-tested."

They can't be Serious... The Insinuation is that (43)'s were Poll-Tested... To the Contrary, (43) was NOT Likely to give a Shit what people Thought about him, whereas Barry so Obviously Obsesses on what people Think about him that it's Laughable that Slate would even go down that road.

But it is Slate... As Parrotted by PMSNBC.

:)

Stems from the politics of low expectations.
What is he talking about...I seriously don't get his point.

Generalizations about Obama in a Ghetto Sense would be Racist, but making Generalizations about a Cracker, is Perfectly OK?...

It's Racist, REGARDLESSS...

Why wouldn't Obama Read a Cabela's Catalog?...

Because he's Educated, or Black?...

Get it?...

George Bush didn't need to spend any time on existentialism. He knew and knows who he and we were and are, wihout any confusion. President Bush, quite to the contrary of the opinion of his critics, was one of the most read of our recent presidents. He simply didn't make a fuss about it, in spite of the ridicule he endured that he had no curiosity; that he was unread was a popular left wing elitist myth.

SLATE: "In 2006, Bush's list included The Great Influenza, about the 1918 flu." Bush was anticipating the possibility of an influenza epidemic and was reading to inform himself on the subject. I read the same book and it was fascinating reading. I remember in a press conference around that time, a female journalist asked him about the status of our plan for the H1N1 virus, I thought to trap him, and he was completely informed on the subject. He knew his duty and he did it.

Even in this reference slate was treating Bush's choice as if he were a "light-weight as he's made out next to the God-like Obama:" SLATE; "If Obama were reading that today while his White House was issuing a new report about the H1N1 virus, he'd start a national panic. But his list is also clearly not poll-tested."

Yeah...right. Obama is, like Clinton, poll driven to the extent that he's led to believe that he can "actuate" us by picking his words carefully from the poll approved list; he is completely convinced of the power of (his) words; thus "wee-wee." Fact is he can only actuate his fawning followers.

We should start Calling the Messianic One's Followers, "Wee-Wee-Heads", in the Spirit of Limbaugh's "Ditto-Heads".

I'm going to bet you're too much of a hack to realize the irony of your own post.

My guess would be because he doesn't hunt, fish, or camp.

Why would you think black people don't do these things? Or wealthy people...you're an asshole focused on race.
