"The Los Angeles Police Protective League filed suit Wednesday against the city and its Police Department over a controversial policy that will limit cases in which police officers impound vehicles of drivers operating without a license.
The new procedures put Los Angeles police officers in conflict with state laws governing 30-day impounds and could expose them to civil liability, according to the suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. The union, which represents more than 9,900 sworn LAPD employees, is asking a judge to determine the validity of the procedures and impose an injunction to stop them from being applied."

So if you are an illegal immigrant you get special treatment if you don't have a license by not getting your car impounded. So in the country illegally, driving without license actually gets you out of another law. You can live here illegally. Send your kid to school without paying taxes. And get welfare.

What can be said here? Defies logic. If Police need to go to such extremes to feel comfortable enforcing such a simple law, something is very very wrong with our legal system. There is such an obvious conflict between public welfare and the benefit of the upper class/wealthy people that exploit illegal aliens, I am beginning to believe democracy is a farce. A sad delusion for the entitled, manipulative and the rich. Just a petty game.
