Stick A Fork In It

"We’ve given “trickle-down” about thirty years to prove itself, which is enough time to expose the whole thing as a fraud. Far from floating all boats, it’s worked in reverse. We’re more of a banana republic now, in terms of wealth distribution, than we’ve been in anyone’s memory.

Those politicians who so faithfully parrot the “trickle-down” line have been completely bought and paid for by the class they serve."

And obamaturd and the dimwits holds to the socialist view point. Reagan still better then the current idiot in office.

If you were a student of history or even lived the history the truth of what has befallen us would be clear to you. Obviously you are neither. What is happening was predicted back 20 years ago and it is now coming home to roost. Perot said it that when Clinton got the free trade agreements passed there would be a great sucking sound of jobs leaving the country, and now that is what we have. Take that an the fact that we are letting illegals in the country to further take low skill jobs and we have what we have.

Reagan's economic policies ushered in the greatest peace time expansion of the economy in history. One that Clinton rode throughout his terms. Of course Clinton had Newt and Republicans controlling congress so that helped. Then it all went wrong with the dotcom crash, the end of the Y2K scare and 9/11.

Of course you won't believe any of that for a second but I lived through it and that is exactly what was predicted and that is exactly what happened. Just as it was predicted that Obama didn't have the experience or the education to be president and boy were we proved correct. What is so laughable is that after 3 1/2 years of failed Obama policies you blame a president from 20 years ago. What happen you folks get tired of blaming Bush for Obama's and the democrat incompetence?

Reagan saved the country from the malaise of Carter that is history that is undisputed fact.

3 1/2 years of failed Obama policy and the left wishes to blame Reagan. The denile is both delusional and idiotic.

There is no mistaking Obama’s increasing reliance on his predecessor’s career as a helpful template for his own. Since the November elections, Obama has brought corporate executives into the White House, reached out to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and made compromise his new watchword. He signed a surprise $858 billion tax cut that would have made Reagan weep with joy and huddled with Reagan’s former White House chief of staff Ken Duberstein for lessons learned when the Gipper governed amid economic troubles. Over the Christmas break, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs tweeted that Obama was reading a Reagan biography, and just to confirm the bond, Obama recently wrote an homage to Reagan for USA Today. “Reagan recognized the American people’s hunger for accountability and change,” Obama wrote, conferring on Reagan two of his most cherished political slogans.

Too late for Obama to try and crash study for his job. Although I do commend him in his choice.

Funny how republicans are now trying to disown what used to be their most cherished central agenda, free trade agreements, certainly democrats helped but things like NAFTA were born in republican think tanks and pumped by an almost religious belief that removing trade boundaries were a wonderful thing and for some it has been a historic windfall, such as the highly republican members of the US (china) chamber of commerce.

It's even funnier watching your lame asses squirm.

After so many years of blaming Reagan for everything from acne to zippers, it must sting to hear Obama idolize Reagan.

Doesn't sting at all, I have known all along that Obama was an economic neo-con who continues to back trade policies that really help no one domestically except the multinational assholes that apparently still hate his guts. By now everyone pisses their pants at the thought of a US/Asia trade war and does whatever it takes to keep things just the way they are, there is no difference between the parties on this point, and there is no denying that those who have benefited most from these ruinous Reaganite trade policies have always and will forever be republican.

LOL..........but in 100 days, all this Keyneisan crap gets mothballed for 2 generations.

The k00ks had best already gotten a good supply of chinstraps by now and purged the medicine cabinet of all disposable razor blades. These peopole are going to be the most miserable fucks on the planet come time families are sitting down for Thanksgiving turkey this year. And as much as Ive been enjoying the shit out of this forum this past year, after November 7th, its going to be a downright hoot.

Class warfare campaigning has never worked..........ever............in a general election. And imcumbents under 50% always lose in a shit economy.

No worries here...........its all good.

Wrong, again.

Reagan (merely) reheated & served-up the Harding/Mellon-version of.....

......and, it FAILED (again).....as should have been expected.

Of course you won't believe any of that for a second but I lived through it and that is exactly what was predicted and that is exactly what happened.

Nice try.
