I LOVE hunting cats. So much so that I almost never shoot them anymore.

And I have never seen a cougar in the Southeast, though the legends are everywhere, and new stories come up each year. I HAVE seen two sets of tracks would would either be VERY LARGE bobcats, or VERY SMALL cougars, but I have never seen any proof of a live cougar in the Southeast that wasn't released or domesticated.

Keep in mind, there isn't a deer or coyote in 9 States that hasn't shown up on at least 34 different trail cams, yet somehow, the cougar has managed to elude the redneck paparazzi.

I don't know how distinct that is from the Cougars seen around these parts for the past 10 years, but state officials have refused to accept any first person sightings, or even paw prints.

But it's okay that Cargill and Monsanto are more effectively doing that VERY SAME THING to farmers now with the help of corn subsidies. But THAT'S okay because they're corporations, right?
