Rappists suck.
My final word on this thread.

This thread does somewhat reinforce my age estimates of Ron Paulists though.

Age has little to do with liking hip hop or Ron Paul. Of course, in my case your age estimate is probably fairly accurate.

Nope, only young people like hip hop and Ron Paul. No one over the age of 30 likes either one. NO ONE.

Rap. Sorry. The sounds of a train wreck doesn't do much for me. I don't know how they can honestly call Rap music.

Me neither, but this is kinda catchy.

One of the greatest rappers ever, without a doubt.

Biggie one of the greatest? I disagree. He coulda been, but he was murdered before that could happen.

My money is on JayZ right now.

Today is the 13th anniversary of the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., who I consider to be the greatest rapper of all time.

I am sorry, but that is just awful IMO, annoying more than anything

What happened to not saying anything if you don't have anything nice to say?

on this board? really, kevin??

but seriously, he didn't hold a candle to Dre or Tupac.

or even Eminem...

sorry I had to be so rough on you.

One can dream.

It's impossible to argue between Tupac or Biggie. They both have different styles, and both are amazing. As for Dre, he's not on Biggie's level lyrically. Em was amazing once upon a time, but he fell off hard. He was definitely up there though back in the day.

Eminem had a longer more successful run than Tupac or Biggie didnt he?

Biggie was a better person, but Tupac had a better producer.

I've always liked Biggie more, but it's real hard to beat "Hit Em' Up" by Tupac.

Ready to Die and Life After Death are both hip hop classics that are nearly untouchable. I agree he died too early, but to say he isn't at least one of the greatest is crazy.

Jay-Z is nice, but hit or miss in my opinion. Not quite as bad as Nas in that regard, but Jay has some stinkers.

I wouldn't say Eminem has had a longer run than Biggie or Tupac. He's been alive and popular longer than they were, but Tupac and Biggie have still had fairly recent successful albums come out.

Working with G.T. on rap tracks, I have come to respect the genre. It takes talent and IS hard work. I challenge those who believe differently to try it for themselves, show us YOUR rap.

It's pretty ridiculous that you would feel the need to say that, considering the amount of talent that goes into the production of a rap music track.

You may not think it's talent, but it goes far beyond just the rappers themselves. Music is music, my man. It's all a unique talent no matter what genre it's coming from.

Real music fans can appreciate the work put into ANY track, regardless of what kind of music it actually is.

yea its hard to run the Record Player back and forth.....
