The United States
Has a business ever closed it's doors and gone out of business totally, due to unions? if so could you provide a link? I can't think of one. Checked google and still couldn't find one.

If you follow the reference link #5 from wikipedia here:

NAFTA's effect on United States employment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You'll find a statement from the AFLCIO (the horse's mouth) that says:
Successive studies by Professor Kate Bronfenbrenner at Cornell University reveal that
since NAFTA went into effect, 68 percent of employers in manufacturing, communication and
wholesale/distribution threatened to move all or part of the plant during union organizing drives.
Fifteen percent of employers followed through on threats and shut down all or part of the plant
within two years, triple the rate found by researchers who examined post-election plant closing
rates in the late 1980s, before NAFTA took effect.

That would be a significant part of the job flight ain't it?

The migration of industies out of the USA and into third world nation is largely due to the fact that unions forced industrialists to give the workers a greater share of the wealthy they created.

That's why FREE TRADE as currently practiced is really nothing more than an politically dirven economically inspired assault on the American working class, and by extention on the nation itself

FREE TRADE as currently practiced is slow motion economic TREASON.

And its a policy that BOTH PARTIES signed onto, too.

Which of course..avoids the question.

I guess you're not counting the closing of General Motors because Government Motors replaced it.
