Quick, send them some stolen e-mails

Pathetic and desperate. Face it Old Rocks, the gig is up. The scam is over. You were had, scammed. fooled, suckered. You were played......

Yup - now Old Rocks is attempting to cherry pick from Australia - which recently broke records for cold temps this past winter.

And to say "the Aussies" are suffering the third major heat wave in three years...C'mon Old Rocks - how pathetic are you gonna get on this?

Australia is a very big country - larger than our own lower 48. Your attempt here would be like saying the southeast United States is suffering its "third major heat wave in two years", as a sign of global warming throughout the United States. An area that is among the historically hottest part of Australia has had some warmer than average temps as it heads into its summer season - and yet - those same areas are being forecast as having significantly lower than normal temps this week. So I guess that is just more proof of global cooling, right? Are you aware that many other parts of Australia have been experiencing lower than normal temps and increased rainfall in recent weeks?

You are really stumbling around drunkenly in this and other threads related to this topic. You are coming dangerously close to being a Huggy/ABikerSailer-like joke of a participant in this forum.

Take a breather, come to terms with how you were completely taken, and then move on.

And don't worry, the media will be sure to construct another scam soon that you can bandwagon onto...

The Aussies have been suffering enough. Quick, steal some more e-mails and send them to Australia. I am sure that will alleviate the situation.

November 2009 southeastern Australia heat wave - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The November 2009 southeastern Australia heat wave is a heat wave currently occurring in the southeastern Australian states of South Australia, Victoria and southern New South Wales. Daily maximum temperatures during the heat wave have been roughly 10 °C (18 °F) above average in many locations. Capital cities Adelaide and Melbourne, have recorded temperatures over 35 °C (95 °F), and some regional towns recording temperatures above 40 °C (104 °F).[2] Above average temperatures in the region began in late October and are still persisting as of 16 November 2009.

Many locations through the region have broken temperature records for November. This November heat wave is the second heat wave experienced in the region within a 10 month period, the earlier being the 2009 southeastern Australia heat wave in January and February 2009, to which 374 deaths have been attributed. Whilst this first heat wave was far more intense, the more recent November heat wave has been more extensive and long lasting.

Hells bells, they have SNOW SKIING in the mountains of Australia during the winter.

www.ski.com.au

Some dumbasses think Australia is one huge desert like the Outback (it's NOT).

It has mountains, oceans, deserts, rain forests, jungles.....and if you count Tasmania (which Aussies on the mainland are loathe to do ;) ), it even has climate similar to the NW portion of the US (say Portland and Washington).

So....anyone who thinks Australia is huge sunbaked sheet of desert sand are sadly mistaken. And yes, Australia is both a Continent AND an island-- THE largest island on this planet and it is MUCH larger than the CONUS.

You are as dumb as a box of rocks about Australia.

I'd shut up if I were you. You're removing all doubt you're a total tool.

He either outright lied - or he does in fact know almost nothing about Australia. Currently many portions of the country are experiencing lower than normal temps with increased rainfall. Old Rocks took one section of the country and declared "Australian Heat Wave".

He has become an utter schmuck...

El Nino is a warming of the Pacific Ocean waters. Right now it's in a moderate phase likely to head to strong. This would explain why Australia is warming.

By the way, where were you all hurricane season? This was the most pathetic Atlantic hurricane season of all time in terms of strength of storms.

There are several areas of our planet that are warmer than average right now. There are also several areas of our planet that are cooler than average. What there is very little of, is areas of our planet that are just "average." This is because when the "average" system was setup, it was created to give an idea of where the temperatures are around that time. What they didn't know was that during that time, there might have been a solar cycle, a ENSO cycle, a PDO, NAO, PNA, MJO, etc. etc. etc. cycle that had been influencing their readings, thus in effect, several other things would be impacting the weather other than this supposed "warming that is taking place." The whole idea of weather "averages" is completely stupid, imo. If you're going to have weather averages, have them during an analog year. For instance, the overall weather pattern of the planet Earth today is very similar to 1976 and 2002. 1977 was a brutally cold winter and 2003 was a brutally snowy winter. Where were our temperatures during that time and how close to then are they now?

Answer: NEARLY IDENTICAL.

Thus if we have the same weather patterns from over 30 years ago that we have today, a -NAO, a +PDO, a moderate El Nino during the last week of November along with the MJO in a phase 6, and our temperatures today are nearly identical, within a degree or two F, then that is proof positive that we are NOT warming.

But if we take a year, say 2005, the warmest year on record and compare it to 1996, we'll be very close because of those years we have neutral ENSO's, raging +NAO, and other factors that made our weather warm. If the NAO is negative and we're hitting 100 degrees in NYC, then there's global warming.

But until you, Old Rocks, take a few courses in meteorology, you're going to be stuck in YOUR same weather pattern of repeating that the Earth is warming while using tampered with evidence to further your theories. You aren't doing any science by yourself to prove it.

, cool and the areas that cool, warm. In effect, the Earth balances itself.

I see. We will just take some of those hacked e-mails up north and spread them on the north polar cap. Cure everything, right.

Zander, you are one stupid fellow.

OK, you dumb ass. Here is what has happened in Australia in the last few months. And you can link for the last three or four years.

Not one 99-degree day in Central Park. Not a single day that the temperature even approached 90. For just the second time in 140 years of record keeping, the temperature failed to reach 90 in either June or July.

The daily average last month was at or below normal every day but two. The temperature broke 80 on 16 days in New York — one more day than in Fairbanks, Alaska. Depending on Friday’s high, this was the second or third coolest June and July recorded in New York. If August follows the same pattern — and the latest forecast through midmonth predicts that it will — this could be the coolest summer on record.

Crappy muskie fishing season, too.

Temps never got hot enough to warm the water up.

Chilly July for many cities across Midwest - WGN Weather Center Blog

Chilly July for many cities across Midwest

July closed with eye-catching temperature deficits over a wide swath of the northern U.S. overnight. Chicago's 69.4-degree average July temperature at O'Hare International Airport was the coolest of the past 17 years. But at Midway Airport, the month's 71.0-degree average temperature was the site's coolest in 42 years. Estimates based on the month's temperatures suggest the need for air conditioning was 30 percent below the long-term average.

Cool as it's been in Chicago, in a number of Midwest cities July has never been cooler. Records were established in Rockford; Madison, Wis.; South Bend and Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and Benton Harbor, Saginaw and Flint, Mich. The month's temperature in those cities finished 4.5 to more than 7 degrees below normal.

The month's lack of rainfall was impressive -- and a huge change from the wet spring that kept farmers out of their fields. Only 1.53 inches of rain was measured here in July, less than half the 3.51 inches considered normal. The dry weather has led to browning lawns.
