Hello USMB staff,
We are a group of researchers from the Department of Media and Communication, City University of Hong Kong. Our research team is conducting a study on the use of online forums for political discussions across the world. We wish to solicit users of this forum to participate in a brief web survey. Results from the survey would help us better understand peoples online discussion behavioral pattern and its implications for democracy and freedom of speech. The whole survey will take about 10 minutes.
We wish to be respectful of the rules here. I am not sure if a post soliciting people to participate in an academic survey would be considered as an "advertisement" or not. Can we post an invitation in this forum?
