Should a man who beats his wife and violates the law remain employed as a police officer?

I would no sooner let a cop who beats his wife stay on the force any more than I would allow a racist to remain on the force.

You twisted the question .... why?

Should a cop who beats his wife be fired

    And .....

Should a man who beats his wife and violates the law remain employed as a police officer?

.... are two completely different questions.
