i disagree. but i also think it's a nonstarter anyway. first of all, obama has a 50% approval rating. incumbants don't lose re-election with numbers like that. second, sarah palin's disapproval numbers are HUGE. and romney doesn't match up well against obama, although he matches up better than the others. third, the rabid right will never nominate romney... they think he's a cultist and they hate him for his health care program.

I think every GOP ticket is "America's worst nightmare". They have not had a single successful policy in more than 30 years. They've been wrong about everything. Brought down the economy. Failed to protect the US, get Bin Laden, been behind the deaths of thousands of Americans in overseas ventures. Made us hated around the world. What can they run on besides such slogans as "Obama's not one of US" and "Obama pals around with terrorists". The truth is, Republicans have done hundreds of times more damage to this country than all the terrorists in the world - put together.

The only way they could cause more damage would be as if that were their goal.

Well I've been around since Eisenhower. And every Republican administration since Ike HAS been a disaster. Unfortunately, most of the democratic administrations have been almost as bad! The question that begs to be asked is how long can America survive such pathetic leadership...

There are a few possibilities out there,especially if Donald Trump decides to run. Trump alone will "Trump Obama in 2012". With a VP like Ryan,Thune,Gingrich or Huckabee,that would just put Obama/Biden in severe panic mode come fall of 2012.
