First, let us all sane posters acknowledge that special prosecutors' investigations and final reports have historically taken a length of time averaging 2 years and 4,months.

Mueller's investigation began in May 2017 and will only reach the 2 year mark in May 2019....and all moronic right wingers' assertions that the Mueller report was due in November 2018 or February 2019 are nothing but other right wing pundits' mere speculation. .

But the question arises as to whether such a report should be made public...for EVERYONE to review.....on whether it should be hidden from voters' scrutiny.

Bear in mind that good ol' acting AG Whitaker is a Trump stooge....and he will be the first individual to see the report........AND....perhaps even more important.......when Whitaker is gone, the next AG nominee appointed by Trump, will have to undergo during his appointment hearings, dozens of questions regarding whether Mueller's report should be hidden or divulged to ALL U.S. citizens.

What do other posters think?.....Should the report be made public, or not?

I think the investigation will continue until the 2020 elections.

Then President Dennison will pay Mueller $130,000 to not release the report.

It takes time to run an investigation. We all know that.

I just hope we all haven't died of old age before his report comes out.

Relevant parts relating to Russia should of course be made public, along with all documents relating to the FBI/CIA Russia investigation. Full transparency, no spin about national security, if it was not a problem to release information regarding waterboarding, it won't be a problem to release information on use of the FISA courts.

Well, the House can subpoena the report and, of course, it will. When the DOJ drags it’s feet on releasing it, the case will probably go to the Supreme Court where, if it follows it will be released to the House. Will the house release it at that point? Who knows.

I think the OP should keep the fantasy going on his head forever. Its comical.

Well, some other moron of your ilk, BrownNose, must have thought your statement as a "brilliant" one.........What "fantasy" is your half-brain alluding to?

Is there a Mueller investigation on-going....Yes or No?
Will there be a report issued regarding this investigation....Yes or No?

Find a grown-up to help you distinguish between "fantasy" and "reality"......LOL

Agreed........As Nixon once stated:

"People have got to know whether or not their president is a crook."

I think they should follow DOJ written policies. Just that simple. We've seen what happens when they are ignored.

It depends, of course, on what Mueller finds, and how damning it is. Trump, the ultimate authority on that matter, can classify all, or large parts of it. Then they might do their usual routine, letting Congressional leaders read it, one by one, no staff, no copies, no phones, no paper brought into the "secure" reading room, no word about the contents in public. In short, even released in this way would mean the public won't see the report, ever. Or in 50 years or so...

Keeping that thing under wraps this way would mean the country is drifting towards a Constitutional crisis, way worse than Watergate, and Trump will certainly not show any inhibitions to use all levers of presidential authority in his personal favor. All the while he's probably going to use the Congressional (establishment's) onslaught to whip his "base" into a frenzy.

When mueller let it leak that all of his prosecutors were democrats that was proof of his intent of blackmail to scare trump to stop investigating the deep states crimes

I’m sure there will be parts to the report that will not be made public in the interest in security and we will all see years down the road.

The bulk of it will be released to Congress and much of it will be made available to the American public, there will be no Constitutional crisis, much to the disappointment of the lefty wing nuts.

Full transparency.

I will accept whatever comes of this investigation, for or against Trump.

Democrats in general hate transparency.

Obama promised 'tbe most transparent administration evuh' yet set a Presidential record for criminal non-compliance with the FOIA & FRA.

An unintended consequence of Mueller's investigation has been the exposure of crimes committed by Democrats / the FBI / etc... - even if released yo the public you can bet no mention of these crimes will be in the report
-- For example: Former Deputy Director McCabe was recommended for indictment by the US IG months ago, but the DOJ / Rosenstein refuses to indict his co-conspirator. Evidence shows Comey perjured himself before Congress and leaked classified, but since the Democrats' sole mission is to take down Trump these will be ignored.

Mueller has repeatedly refused to reveal 'evidence', so no matter what we think he will push back against providing much to substantiate his political 'hit job' of a report that is coming.
