A lot of people believe in a different concept of heaven/hell than their subscribed religion. They just believe the parts they agree with. It seems most people believe that they will be judged according to their actions and hearts; even if their religion might teach them otherwise.

I think this is interesting because it is what makes sense.

Actually Isaiah reads "all our righteous acts are like filthy rags" (isaiah 64:6). None of our deeds or works will get us into Heaven. The often quoted John 3:16 says it all.

Maybe Focus more on Unconditional Surrender To God, with No Expectation. We have Always been at His Mercy. Trust in that He Purpose in Creating You, and let go to that. What could We Possibly Argue, that is not already Known?

Let me add this: God has allowed the death of innocent people since time immemorial. Why? Random meaning chance, maybe? Because, either there isn’t supreme being, or he/she it is a totally cold and emotionless prick, or there isn’t a God, to begin with. Either way, what difference does it make? Why worship a God like that? Why? You can’t prove the son of a bitch exists, so why bother playing these games ? Just live, and do the best you can, and live with your conscience. That is the best ANYONE can do.
