My question to for the left is why that's a bigger deal than Hillary putting us at risk?If so, why does Donald Trump want Russia to find them?

No one can hack her server now. It is offline and in the hands of the FBI. It is believed that Russia, China and North Korea hacked it while it was online, as they are known for hacking foreign nations. Hillary promises there is no classified info there, so what harm to national security can come of their release? If she's lying, which we all know she is, they need to come out now or they will be used to influence (blackmail) her should she become president. That certainly would harm our national security, no?
Russia either has them or it doesn't. There is no getting them now, as the server is defunct. You get that, right?
Russia will hold on to them as leverage against Hillary and the US. Our real hope is that Julian Assange, who despises government corruption, will release them before it is too late. How people can think Putin and Assange are in this together is beyond me. Their interests are opposing.

Why is it a threat to national security for a Presidential candidate to invite a foreign state to undertake hacking operations where the objective is to locate material government business. Hmmm.....let me think about this one. Think, think, think.

The issue here is the ability of a foreign government or radical group to blackmail an American president. Someone has those missing emails, Russia, China, North Korea, ISIS, or some geeky hacker hiding in a basement.

And Russia seems to already be blackmailing Trump in his candidacy. How does that bode for him in the Oval Office?
