Question for some on the Right

If you oppose the minimum wage on the grounds that a man has the right to labour for whom we will for what payment they might agree to, free of government intervention.... how do you justify laws banning 'illegals' from doing just that?

They have illegally entered the country. That has nothing to do with freedom of negotiation.

If they want to enter the country legally and negotiate for whatever pay they recieve it's fine by me. But until they are legal, they are, unfortunately, being treated as slave labor and far more prone to workplace abuse because they have no recourse to go to prevent it.

You'd think the people who pretend to care for illegals so much would be concerned with this. But they arent. Mainly because they dont care about the people, merely the votes.

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these — the homeless, tempest-tossed — to me;
