I don't recall a U.S. President with such a blabber mouth as this guy Obama regarding our SEALS. The identity of the killers of OBL should have been left to special ops/forces - NOT U.S. Navy SEALS. What Warrior said. You don't show photos of SEALS....but then again, it would be very unwise to show any ID on members of any covert raid like that one.

I agree. But there are those screaming for video & names of the special ops, how they can be special ops with their names & pictures released, it is not reasonable. And Obama would catch hell if he didn't identify the branch. He might have "military, CLASSIFIED" but would take heat, that is HIS job however. If the JCS accepts it, why continue questions NOW? There was no claim all al Qaeda forces were eliminated.

Warrior, Bush talked too much before the Iraq invasion though his blabber mouth did NOT help Saddam. That does not justify Obama's mistake in any way. Even if bin Laden were to be tried in NYC, or DC, there would still be doubters.

I think a much more interesting and important question is why Osama bin Laden was executed rather than tazed, wrapped up and brought back alive. But the answer seems rather obvious: He was silenced.

Osama bin Laden had a lot to say back in 1998 and if he'd been listened to the 9/11 attack could have been prevented. But Bill Clinton was preoccupied with other diversions, Bush was praying for something like 9/11 to facilitate his ambitions, and our Congress was not (and is not) interested in knowing anything that might interfere with the flow of AIPAC money.
