Question/advice requested: How to obtain justice for a personal cause

I will make the story as short as possible. I have been trying to clear my name with the security establishment in Canada. I have no record, nor have I been charged with anything. This persecution for lack of a bettr word, culminated in a lawsuit which I could not pursue to the full extent as I could not afford a lawyer, however, I have experienced a gross injustice and want to secure support from others in my cause even as the lawsuit has fallen by the wayside.

Some of you may have experience in recruiting support for a cause, if so, what method(s) would any of you employ if faced with a similar circumstance?
