It is an expression that no Democrat will ever use. But think about the concept.

If "god" is truly committed to the success of the U.S., then She would surely want to ensure high-quality voters to make sound voting decisions and put "us" on the right path. And what are the characteristics of a High-Quality voter?

  1. First, a U.S. citizen,
  2. Someone fluent in English - as a minimum able to understand spoken English to a high degree,
  3. Someone who understands Government, specifically, the distinct roles of the national, state, county, and local governments; someone who understands how the three branches of government interact,
  4. Someone who understands the fundamental differences between the Democrat and Republican approaches to government,
  5. Someone who understands the role of the office that the candidates are seeking, and what the candidate says s/he will do once in office,
  6. Someone with the maturity to take voting seriously, not only as a right but as a duty,
  7. Someone who has been economically emancipated from parents, and has paid income and other taxes.
I've said nothing about education, attitudes, race, gender, or any of that. I'm just focusing on what a high-quality voter would look like. None of this is controversial or partisan.

Now consider, on the other hand, the voters and would-be voters that the Left focuses on.
  • 18-year-olds and now, 16's,
  • College students with zero life experience,
  • Motor voters and people wanting to register ON ELECTION DAY: people too lazy and disinterested to even register properly to vote,
  • Non-English speakers,
  • People in nursing homes and subsidized housing developments,

You get the idea.

Category 1 sounds much more the conservative value:
  • a U.S. citizen
  • literate
  • constitutional moderate
  • educated on the backgrounds of the candidates
  • older, mature, independent thinker
  • taxpayer, involved in the voting process
  • willing to consider both sides of an issue

Simpler test for voting in federal elections: Ability to name the President, Vice President, both Senators and Member of Congress.
