What makes you think the ACA is going to make HC cheaper?

If you believe it will, then please show me how this act will drive down the cost of HC.

I don't think it will. In fact I think the ACA will ultimately lead to even higher increases over time.

The lack of a DNR for everyone is killing health care costs. I know. I have been watching a hospital keep a man alive for months. Had he signed a DNR, his life would have ended with some dignity and the insurance co. wouldn't have spent or will spend more hundreds of thousands of dollars to let him lay like a vegtable. Alive? Barely.

Just because medical technolgy can keep you alive sure does not mean it should.

Those DNR's are REAL cost controls.

Just kidding about making people sign them. Not gonna happen and no one wants to talk about end of life expectations. Spend spend spend to keep a person from the inevitable.
