Psychology Experiment: 75% of people do not notice huge changes in front of them.

This is well worth the 4 minutes to watch.

Of course we all believe that we'd be in the 25%, right?

Situational perception experiments are always fun. The scary part is real world practice that tends to indicate distraction is the main causative factor. It's obvious in daily life. How many people are even 90% aware of their peripheral surroundings 25% of the time. About 25% on average.

I think we are so over-stimulated that we can't focus! I was driving around LA today and made a conscious effort to notice how many messages I was bombarded with - it was mind blowing. All of the Billboards, signs, bumper stickers, sights, smells, and sounds are a massive, sensory overload. It is amazing we notice anything.

Don't I know it, every time I wake up to an erection it is too late.

I could have been President if not for those things.
