This belongs in the Rubber Room.

the "so" part for me was why they didn't let it go bankrupt before dropping billions into a company that needed bankruptcy to reorganize pension liabilities, shed outdated plants and create a tiered labor charge.

Uh, that's exactly what they did....other than "shed" plants..the whole point was to refurbish their US plants and keep the workers employed. Smart people handled the thing...Obama likely had no idea of what or how they did it.

No, they pumped a ton of money into it before the bankruptcy too.

No, they pumped a ton of money into it before the bankruptcy too.

I mentioned that earlier...Bush gave them a bridge loan because the banks were in shambles and they couldn't find a dollar anywhere else. It all worked out....and I enjoy throwing that in the faces of those who said they'd go broke "within six months"....check out the new line of Bowties and Caddies.....SWEET RIDES...Americans eat steak, japs eat shit (with chopsticks).

They don't exist as far as I'm concerned. They gave the union 40% of the company, I'll never buy another one. 2003 - 2005 I bought 3 new Chevys and 1 new GMC, never again.

I have gotten rid of all my GM's too....I have a GM Vette I am keeping. I will never guy a gM, it's un-American.....

Republicans are still pissed that GM survived

They wanted it to fail so they could blame Obama

Not Republicans, jap car owners....they're concealing the guilt of knowing they shit on American workers while claiming to be patriotic.

Republicans voted against saving GM

Shows their loyalty to American autos

Bullshit...Bush gave GM the bridge loan that saved them.

Bush gave them a handout and they were back asking for money in a few months. Obama demanded stock, a restructuring of the company and labor concessions. GM is healthier for it

All Republicans voted against Obamas GM bailout even though they approved it for Bush. They wanted GM to fail on Obamas watch
