Proud american

the article is too long. too liberal

LMAO

Too long? Ever read a book? Too liberal? Too liberal for pointing out the obvious.
Why not criticize the points made, post some evidence that the points made bear no truth?
Likely because you can't. And, btw, had you read the entire piece and the authors short bio you might pause and actually think. But that would take too long, wouldn't it?

Its all relative! Any nationality has its bad apples and you can categorize that nationality or religion based on the few or the many. That is why categorizing is, to me, absurd and unreal. People are individuals, with all their little differences and that is what makes us who we are as a people. Americans are a little piece of the world under one government, Germans, English, French, Egyptians, Iranians, Chinese, Aussies, you name a nationality and it is represented here in this country and that is part of what makes us America. All we hear about theses days are the illegals trying to come into the country but there are thousands of legal immigrants coming from all over the world because America is the center of the world. They want to be Americans.

Article has potential to be good if it wasn't so full of retro 1970's Archie Bunker stereotypes. Writer a retired CWO living in Alaska. (Who the hell retires to Alaska?) That says alot in itself. Must have a bad case of cabin fever or it was a creative writing course assignment from Yukon Community College where the assignment was: take an overly-simplistic subject and make it as verbose as possible. If that is the case, the author got an A+.
