Human rights group Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) is hosting a rally at Ground Zero to protest the construction of a mosque at the site of the Islamic terror attack that brought down the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. SIOA is one of America's foremost organizations defending human rights, religious liberty, and the freedom of speech against Islamic supremacist intimidation and attempts to bring elements of Sharia to the United States.

"We chose June 6 as the rally date," Geller explained, "because it's D-Day. In 1944, Americans acted against the evil of Nazism. Now it is time for Americans to stand up against the evil of Islamic jihad terrorism and Islamic supremacism."

Go idea to try to defend western culture before it is no late.

Muslims have every right to build a mosque anywhere that it is legal to do so. And all the protest in the world won't stop it. Don't like it there? Get the city to zone against churches and religious buildings there.

They wouldn't do that. There are two very old, very beautiful churches there, both of which were very important to people on 9/11, one of them being Trinity Church.

I have a problem with people protesting against moderate muslims who want to show their commonality and support. Terrible message to send. Obviously, they can protest as they want, but that doesn't make it the right thing to do.

This is the great blade of America. It's awesome to be in a place where a group can build a place of worship so bigots can freely expose themselves to the world as true assholes.

This is like having the American Nazi party move their headquarters to the building directly across the street from the holocaust memorial... while anybody has the freedom to build/buy/purchase residence wherever they want.. some things just should not be done

There is no moderate Islam , The invention of moderate muslims is a Trojan horse.

Could have used various other examples... KKK headquarters across from the 16th Street Baptist Church.... a meat packing plant across from PETA headquarters.... PLO meeting place built on the crash site of flight 103

Which one suits you better?

That's not true. And saying it is does nothing to advance discussion.

Ahhhhh the religious tolerance of christians.

Was there ever a christian who killed for their warped view of their own religion?

Under your own criteria we should be banning churches

You assume Fitah and others in this thread are Christian? While you're at it, what is the price of rice in China?

Idiot.

as soon as they get that mosque built we should give the Hormel packing plant a city block,, with a hog pen right next to a slaughterhouse.. and right next to that a Jack Daniels Distillary.
