Except for two counties in Nevada, prostitution is illegal in the U.S. Do you think that has eliminated it? Or do you think it has transformed it into a largely sordid activity in which human trafficking, drug-addicted teen-age participation and diseases are common?.

What you would like is one thing. Reality is another. Like beverage alcohol, while it's legal it can be controlled. Prohibitions are folly.

Exactly, marijuana is illegal in the US, but you can get it practically anywhere. People who think simply making something illegal gets rid of it have their heads in the sand.
