We have a couple of generations of Americans now that have been raised in broken households, without fathers, with people telling them every day that they're victims and have no chance outside of what the government gives them. They've had standards lowered so as to not hurt their feelings, they've been apologized for, they've been given medals for just showing up. They've been told that they are owed something regardless of whether they actually earned it.

All pretty much since birth.

When you're told all of that since birth, when you're raised in a family and community environment that absolutely endorses and amplifies and assumes it, you're going to believe it as much as you believe anything. It doesn't make you stupid, it makes you conditioned.

The part none of these fuckers can ever seem to figure out though is that none of this "free stuff" is actually free. By the end of the decade the interest on our debt will be a TRILLION dollars per year.
It's verging on a half trillion now. So all these vote-buying gimmes are going away. That's what "UNSUSTAINABLE" means. The checks and the free stuff just stop coming. There's not going to be any money for all these niceties when we're pulling a trillion bucks out of our asses every year.
