It's quite simple proof too. We hear from the rich that people should stop whining "and go start a business". Thats the answer to everything these days...."go start a business".

Well, what if the utopia occurred, and EVERY single person in America did just that?

What if every single one of our 300,000,000 people started their own business today? The question is......with 300,000,000 businesses, and thus 300mil owners, WHO WOULD DO THE WORK????

Would we have 300,000,000 SUCCESSFUL businesses that were owned and operated by a single person? What kind of products or services could possibly be offered by that many 1 man businesses?

How many of that 300,000,000 would succeed with ONLY 1 EMPLOYEE....that being the owner.

It'd argue less than 1%.

Proof that, if you own a successful business, you ALONE did not build that.

wow, this was a guy that was "convseervative'? LOLOLOLOLOL...I've refrained from calling you a fake or a kook, but this crap is rediculous, it's not EASY to start and run a business...therefore most people dont do it. It's much EASIER to collect a paycheck.

The first flaw in your argument:

No one ever said the answer to everything is to go start a business.

The second flaw in your argument:

The fact that a business has employees does not demonstrate that the business would exist without the owner.

Bucs90 was never a conservative. Nothing is more common that lifelong liberals claiming they were once conservative or that they voted for Reagan. There's a whole chapter about that in the progressive propaganda manual.

stupid simple proof is stupid, but you do get an "A" for exceptional stupidity.

Most Idiotic Post of the Week Award Nominee.

Can no one refute my premise then? I'll give an example.......

Jerry Richardson is the owner/founder of the NFL's Carolina Panthers. He was also the owner founder of Hardee's/Carl Jrs.

Now...he founded the Panthers. Put a shit ton of money into it. He deserves a lot of credit for the successful NFL franchise. But did HE alone build it? How many passes has he caught or thrown? How many tackles has he made? How many hot dogs and beers has he walked up and down the stadium on a hot day to sell? How many bricks in that stadium did he lay?

How many gamedays did he paint the white lines on the field? How many Pro Bowl players did he tape up and rehab after injury? How many sleepless nights did he spend scouting video of the opposing teams?

How many highways did he patrol to ensure fans got to the games and got home safely? How many TV's did he donate to homes so that all that TV revenue could be generated?

He founded it. He funded it. He had a huge hand in building it. But did HE ALONE build it? No. Same with his fast food business. Countless other people chipped in on that.

And the arrogant attitude of some on the right and some in business of trying to stand on a soap box and look down on anyone below them, as if they have never contributed to society, is sick.

Obama was referring to the entire American system that makes business possible, dupes. ZZZZZZZZZ

Yep. Taken way out of context.

But....in the new fad of right wing business arrogance, there are many who take it as an outright insult if someone suggests that maybe...just maybe....other people assisted them in their success.

To suggest that means you obviously are an America hating commie.

He paid for all those people do perform those services for him. He employs hundreds of people who wouldn't have jobs without his investment.
Yes, it's a symbiotic relationship but without an entrepreneur risking his wealth, all of those people would be standing around with nothing to do but start silly threads on internet message boards.
Now, screw the cap back on the Mad Dog 20 20 and go to bed. You'll feel better in the morning.

What is with you lately? When did you become a hard core marxist supporter?

If you come up with a business plan, secure the financing, intiate the good or service, hire people to help out, and make the big sacrifices to make your business succeed, how did you not built the business?

So if you design a house, buy the land and materials, and get to work building it, you didnt build the house if you hired several people to help you with the project? How are you any less the architect/builder of the house? Why would a business be the same?

you are trying to defend the indefensible. No matter how you look at it, entrepenuers build their business. No one can honestly say someone didnt build their business, unless of course, they purchased it off someone else who built it. But even then they are still continuing to build it.

Yep. You guys sure are taking it out of context.

Another liberal thumb-sucker telling how this economy works. Very few people in this country compared to the population will risk everything they own to start a business. 9 out of 10 new business's still fail within the 1st year. They are our most innovative--risk taking--hardest working people in this country and they are also the largest employer of it.

1- Most dont start one because they dont have/cant get the money to do it. Banks arent loaning. Wages aren't rising.

2- If 90% of businesses fail........then why are we being told that the government "Should be run like a business". That would obviously be a disaster.

And you say you hold fast to 90% of your conservative beliefs. Lolololololololol

I don't see how ANYONE could ever not consider you a fraud.

Yep, I do. Let me list some. A few Tea Party folks may wanna take note and remember them as well:

Humility: Realizing that no single person is responsible for all their success, that we are all helped by many others along our way in life, and any success should be taken with a humble nod to those who helped.

Gratitude: Of realizing we all need help along the way, and being appreciative to those who helped. Our teachers, cops, soldiers, coworkers, the employees we hire. Our families. Realizing that an arrogant attitude is not a conservative value.

Honesty: Being true to what one believes. And not be scared or too proud to admit we all, at one point, needed some help.

Charity: Realizing that charity is good. It's good for individual people. And...charity is a great help for society. Also realizing that SOME causes, some societal needs, will NEVER be funded by charity because volunteerism never works if there is no emotion involved. Which is why our Founding Fathers enabled the country to have a functioning tax system, a collective pot that society chips into, and a few trusted, elected representitives will use that pot to fund those societal needs.

Respect for Authority: This once was a bedrock of the right wing, and a major part of why I was part of it. Having respect for the military, for the police, for teachers, etc. Now, they are all labeled in an umbrella of evil, greedy government workers that need to be slashed down to size.

I could go on and on and on.

And I truly believe 90% of my conservative values remain. It is the right wing ideology that changed, not me.

My other 10% that aligns more with the left tends to be about weed, gay marriage and animal rights. That too has not changed.
