LOL. The wingnuts here still see socialism and capitalism as grand ideas, and not the economic tools that they are. From the results, capitalism works very well building cars and very poorly in delivering health care. And, also from results, socialism works well delivering health care, and very poorly building cars.

But those that espouse the use of only one or the other, in all venues, simply cannot and will not admit the failures of each, or the strengths of the tool that they dislike. A real disconnect with reality.

Yet modern medicine arrived because of Capitalism, not Socialism. What is the Socialist greatest contribution to medicine?

Most modern medical advances arrived because of a mix of private endeavors and public research at educational institutions and the NIH.
