We constantly hear progressives whine about the lack of money for education in America - while they piss away trillions of dollars on waste, fraud, abuse, and pork. There is no doubt where their priority lay (the advancement of sexual deviance above all else).

Or maybe the right piss away education by calling it "indoctrination" if they're teaching SCIENCE instead of religion.

Let's look.

States which have voted Democrat in every Presidential election since 1992 and their position with high school graduation.

California 50th
Connecticut 18th
Delaware 27th
Hawaii 11th
Maine 8th
Maryland 23th
Massachusetts 19th
Minnesota 2nd
New Jersey 26th
New York 37th
Oregon 19th
Rhode Island 34th
Vermont 6th
Washington 16th

An average of 21

Now for Republican states who have voted Republican every time since 1992

Alabama 44th
Alaska 4th
Idaho 22nd
Kansas 17th
Mississippi 48th
Nebraska 14th
North Dakota 7th
Oklahoma 32nd
South Carolina 37th
South Dakota 13th
Texas 49th
Utah 10th
Wyoming 3rd

That's an average of 23rd.

Seems that for solid Republican states since 1992 their high school graduation is worse than for Democrat states.

If we go to Bachelor degrees then what do we see?

An average of 10 for Democratic states.
For Republicans is an average of 32.

So the higher you go up the education ladder, the better Democratic states get and the worse Republican states get.

And you're saying Democrats are destroying education only?

I'd say both parties are destroying the whole country.

Google search "Charlotte Iserbyte" and her website concerning the intentional dumbing down of America. What we are facing is worse than you could fathom. Leftwing, rightwing.....body in the middle controls them both...and did you know that a bird has no sphincter control and is why they shit indiscriminately? Something to weigh and consider.

IMO, for normal humans, public school is damaging. I will guess the public school agenda became a dumbing down type thing starting in the mid 60's when jewish folks kind of weaseled their way in to control key aspects in order to try to make blacks and browns feel better about themselves, or more accurately, make whites feel bad about themselves.

Far too much money is thrown into education... or wait, far too little money is put on education, and far too much is thrown in "education".

What progressives call education is actually indoctrination. Feminism, Marx, social justice... and all other useless nonsense. This is why everyone should double and triple check that they are actually getting an education in something worthwhile. Yes, they have destroyed it in large part.

The progressives of course oppose real education, as everyone prefers real education over their feel good bullshit.

Why is it just "progressives" who have "destroyed education in America"? It depends on the curriculum. Reading, writing, mathematical pursuits, real science, chemistry, physics, real literature, history as told honestly and not littered with omissions, foreign languages, geography, sociology, and anthropology that include a basic understanding of cultures and religions around the world, all serve to provide a well-rounded education.

Does anyone remember the Gablers who started an organization known as "Educational Research Analysts," which was and is dedicated to censoring and rewriting textbooks to indoctrinate students in a certain very specific "conservative" and religiously-sectarian viewpoint in the school system rather than produce critical thinkers. And they have absolutely nothing to do with "Progressives."

Yes, well done for noticing.

There are far more issues at play here than a simple "California is 50th". But yes, it's there, and Texas is 49th. Both are large states. Both have large urban areas. I'd guess that places like LA and Houston would have larger drop out rates than rural areas.

Notice Wyoming 3rd? Rural as hell. Alaska 4th. Rural as hell.

These things play a part and make it difficult to judge these things straight up.

The issues you see here are that high school drop out rates aren't much different between Republican and Democrat states. Average of 21 and 23 is hardly here nor there.

21st is 89.6% and 23rd is 89.4%, hardly noticeable.

Where it becomes more noticeable is when you get to further education. Keeping kids in school is one thing, having the achieve something beyond school shows the sign of success.

If he's using the Wiki data, as it appears he is, no.

The survey does not measure graduation rates from a state's high schools, rather, it measures the percentage of adult residents with a high school diploma.

The education system is a Democratic party cash cow, its how they fund their elections. Pretty sweet deal, tax the shit out of the people, funnel the money to K-12 and they kick back part of the money to Dem coffers. At the college level tuition is sky high beyond what most students can afford, no problem have government guarantee the student loans, Dem party gets their money, sucks for the students they are slaved out to debt before they even begin their careers.

And for the purposes of what we're doing it doesn't make much difference.

Latest high school graduation rates — state by state

Here are High School drop out rates. We have differences.

Iowa is number one at 90% for highest graduation. It's only 0.3% lower than number one for number of people who have graduated high school.

Urban areas are more likely to see High School drop out rates, like DC at 62% graduation rates.

And then for some reason Oregon has 69% much lower than any other state.

Many pursue degrees in archeology, then find there are no jobs in archeology...wait for it...so they lobby government to create state and federal government jobs in archeology and pass laws making it illegal for anyone other than a government archeologist to dig anything up.
