"Iranians from all walks of life have taken to the streets of several cities to renew their allegiance to the Islamic establishment and condemn the recent wave of deadly violence in some areas.

Holding banners and national flags, the demonstrators chanted pro-government slogans during the mass rallies which were held in different towns and cities, including Ahvaz, Kermanshah, Bushehr, Abadan, Gorgan and Qom.

Several other cities are slated to hold similar rallies on Thursday, while Tehrani residents will hold a rally following the Friday prayers.

Last week, a number of peaceful protests over economic grievances started in several cities, but those gatherings suspiciously changed color and turned ugly when groups of participants, some of them armed, launched attacks on public property, police stations and religious sites.

Over a dozen people have been killed in the ensuing violence, according to state media reports.

The participants further shouted slogans against the United States and the Israeli regime, which welcomed the turmoil and voiced support for the riots.

President Hassan Rouhani has also said that based on the rights enshrined in the Constitution and the Charter of Civil Rights, people are free to criticize the government or stage protests, but the manner of expressing such criticism should be constructive and help improve domestic conditions.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has also said the Islamic Republic’s security and stability depend on its own people, and that “infiltrators” will not be permitted to violate the rights of Iranians.

The Interior Ministry said Tuesday that the situation in most of the country has now returned to normal, and that the unrest will soon come to an end.

The Intelligence Ministry also said it has identified and arrested a number of the agents behind the violence."

Mass pro-government rallies in Iran after protests
Terrorist apologist says tyrannical regimes do not force citizens to support them.
You are paranoid.
You really sticking to the story that tyrannical regimes do not force its citizens to support them?

You have to go to a university to learn to be that stupid. And you have a PhD.

You need to stop claiming nonsense. How does the or else look like for the protesters?
I know Iranians who have fled the regime dufus. The government rounds everyone in the area up and says hold these up and yell for the ayatollah.
Sure thing... :spinner:
I will buy you a plane ticket to Tehran so you can find out yourself just before they toss you off a building.

Big headlines asking is this the end of the Mollah regime, everything full of news about protests in Iran. The world is watching, Trump says.

Maybe the Trump regime is in your back with a gun right now - I at least have no idea how you could come up with such nonsense. People support the government because it grants sovereignty whereas US opposition ams at the exploitation of the country.
Where are your rants on Saudi Arabia? Trump praised the grandeur of the magnificent kingdom.

well me , well i just want to punish and depose the 'iranian' government simply because they took Americans hostage 40 years ago and because 'iran' is an 'islamic theocracy' run by 'shiite' muslims , just saying BPreister .

Israel fired at an US vessel. What´s your punishment?
Iran is not a secular country but this is not why they are anti-American. They are anti-American because of US intervention in Iran. Westerners like me do not feel threatened by Iran. In fact, they are heavily involved in eliminating a threat to Westerners: Islamist terrorism.

Iran is another country to me. They are just there and do not harm anyone. Another conflict is not what Iran, the world needs.
