The choice is clear...the freedom to be (read remain) pregnant or not to be (read remain) pregnant.

Iths thimple.

Forced pregnancy, lol.

Let's have some stats for the numbers of women who have been *forced* to endure a pregnancy.

Rape victims who are impregnated by the crime.

In your world if you had your way, those rape victims would be forced to carry to term.

The only *real* cases of women being "forced" into enduring pregnancy are instances of marriage or another coercive relationship. And in those cases, those women can't access abortion even if the clinic was next door.

So please provide some stats or even references to women who were "forced" to carry a pregnancy to term BECAUSE ABORTION WAS ILLEGAL.

You will never find one.

I can find sources that reference women, and girls, being forced or tricked into having abortions, however. I listened to one riveting story not too long ago. A 16 year old girl got pregnant. She hid her pregnancy until she was almost due, when her parents found out. They found a clinic (which has since been exposed as a house of horrors) that legally performed late term abortions. It was a nightmare for her; she saw her full term baby that she was left alone with a toilet to deliver.

I personally have been to an abortion clinic in the lovely state of Oregon, not even 8 years ago. I saw a woman who was obviously almost due going through all the paperwork everyone else in the clinic was going through.

In another instance, I escorted a girl to an abortion clinic where the clinicians discovered she had already spontaneously aborted (she was just around 6 weeks) but then opted to give her an abortion anyway! Win/win, no dead baby...still get to scrape on a woman, and they get money for it! Yay!

To trot rape victims out and parade them around to justify the 99% of other abortion cases is to use them and make a spectacle of their suffering. It trivializes what they've experienced by turning them from women with real experiences to nothing more than convenient rhetorical devices to be sent out on stage and used as an excuse for the 93% of abortions that are done out of simple convenience. It is like shooting a man for playing his music too loud and then parading a battered women in front of the court and claiming that, because of her suffering, your own cold-blooded actions somehow cannot be criticized.

Real feminists should be outraged by those in the abortion industry who use and exploit these women for their own political and economic ends.

Less than one percent of one percent of all abortions performed are to hide rape.

But it's good to know that you want to protect rapists from prosecution. Dead baby AND pro-rapist! You're an okay guy! Love to be next to you in the subway...

Are you pro-Islam, too? Because that would be a trifecta!

I think I smell more far RW claptrap.

Pro-Choice. But I do not chastize those who are pro-life. I personally believe the govt. should let the choice be left between a woman and her doctor. Her body, her choice. However, I understand the passion of the other side of the debate, and I refuse to chastize those that carry the point of view that by outlawing Abortion, they'd be saving lives.

I do, however, chastize the morons that go stand outside of Abortion clinics with those signs, yelling at women already making a terribly difficult decision.. Telling them that they are murderers. Those people should die and go to hell.

Here's the thing about that though. Those SOBs represent the rest of the Far RW couchpotatoes who either are too lazy or don't have the balls to get the signs and do that themselves. However, they silently and not-so-silently cheer them on heartily from their coaches.

Not true at all. While I don't agree with 99% of abortions, there are better ways to "protest" than standing outside an abortion clinic, waving a sign and looking like a hate-filled, judgmental moron. You know - like the Phelps clan.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see enough lash-back coming from the Right when these things happen. You're an exception to the rule if anything.

Well....what'll it be?

Your entire Premise is based on flawed logic. Forced Pregnancy? Nobody forced the chick to open her legs and get pregnant in the first place. what about that choice?

Your words betray you Judas. Your use of the words "open her legs" are RIFE with judgement and condemnation on the female.

Carry on.
